Our family of 4 moved to Alaska from MN in 2002 and due to my hubby's work, we moved to Nebraska in 2014. We were in Talkeetna and worked for AK railroad. We raised 2 kids there, but they are in MN for college now and all our family (plus us originally) so we are working our way back to the Midwest. We still have our AK cabin on the lake and hope to visit often! I love Nebraska too...cows, horses, prairie, and cowboys....it's really very beautiful! I've been exploring my town of North Platte with long walks for exercise. I'm 55yrs young! I love to quilt.

I hope you are having a Good Holiday season and are managing your weight loss efforts during this trying time of the year!
I am in Idaho, with my LIL SIS for a month. I am helping prepare for Christmas (We are Celebrating with one bunch of the family tomorrow and another on Christmas Night).
Plus, we are going to the gym. I am her personal trainer for the month, as she is intimidated by the machines, and I have worked out with them for more than 28+ years. So, we both hope to see an improved health and fitness benefit by the time I leave and return to Alaska the middle of JAN 2011. MAN- where did the year go?
Have a Great Holiday Season and I hope you haven't gotten too much more snow in the last few days since I have been gone. I know it was -7 degrees when I called Homer this morning.
