My goal is not only to lose 137 lbs, but to gain more confidence and happiness. I want to be healthy, not skinny.

My 10% Weight Loss Goals:

- Lose 26 lbs. by 10/13/2014
- Lose 23 lbs. by 01/12/2015
- Lose 21 lbs. by 04/06/2015
- Lose 19 lbs. by 06/22/2015

Calories: 1200-1550

Exercise
I walk 2 miles in 40 minutes (3 mph) 4-5 times a week. This burns about 300 calories each walking session.

My name is Alex. I live in Ohio, and I was just recently hired as a music teacher! I'm very excited to begin my first year of teaching!

My Daily/Weekly Goals:
- Drink 8-10 servings of water.
- Workout 4-5 times a week.
- Stay within my calorie, fat, protein, and carbohydrate ranges every day.
- Eat 4-5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day.

Thank you for the blog love :) You said some super nice things & yes, I am much happier now than I was 50 pounds ago! I've read that people have to realize their life won't change once they lose weight - they won't become happier people - they'll still have the same problems.... but I disagree. I think we do become happier because we've proven how strong & capable we are. We're healthier with each pound we lose so of course we're going to get happier and feel better! What do those people know?!! They need to talk to you & me!

I do appreciate your friendship so very much. I love that we can all be honest here & love our friends with an unconditional love :) Thanks for all of your support!
