ALFBUNDY

Hi everyone. I want to lose 60 pounds by December and I think Spark People is just the right place to do it. I started with Spark People last month, and am just getting around to filling in my spark page. So far, I am down 15 pounds. The nutrition tracker is a big help. I do need motivation to exercise. I'm hoping to find some good friends here with Spark People.
I selected the turtle as my ticker icon because I have a turtle. His name is Tippy.

Hahahahahahahaha. Yeah ... I guess hot flashes would take care of that!

You know, it would be very strange for me now, having lived in Canada for 30 years, to be anywhere else at this time of year. This year, we very nearly had a brown Christmas - my first ever. Fortunately, it snowed a week or so before, so we had enough snow on the ground to not feel very weird. And then, a few days after, we got a whole bunch of snow, and again the other day - so now we have lots!

If I ever go somewhere warm during winter break, it will always be after Christmas, so as to not miss the White Christmas I love.

Stay cool!

Yes. Definitely a fur coat is needed!

And make sure you have some electric blankets for night time!

That's about 24 degrees Celsius - a lovely, very pleasant late spring/early summer day for us.

Thanks for the lovely sunshine!

Actually, your warm thoughts and prayers must have worked as it warmed up today! Only a dozen or so degrees below zero now!
