Hello! Newbie vegetarian, severely overweight due to a thyroid issue, I firmly believe in the healing power of diet and exercise and am hoping to get fit even if I never lose a pound. My Goals:
I want to be able to get fit and lose enough weight to go backpacking and climb Mount Si in 5 years, so all of my fitness efforts are going towards that. I'm trying to get from 298 lbs to 140 lbs.

My Program:
Ovo-lacto vegetarianism, each day I'm recording my foods, trying to stick to the Vegetarian Food Guide Pyramid while tracking B-12, Iron, Magnesium, Vitamin D, and Selenium.
