Alicia's Goals

When I graduated high school, I was at my highest weight- 198 lbs. Now that I'm a mother, i want to be a healthy and happy example for my son!
I fell off the wagon in 2008, and am now fighting to get back on track! The biggest contributor to my past failure was a major plateau that lasted for several months. I foolishly gave up. Now, scales are completely banished in my home- the only weight on here is the weight I get during doctor's visits.

I measure various body parts each month. That way, I can make sure I am trending downward without obsessing.

Thanks for the comment! I think my ultimate goal is to meet my monthly goals just once this year!! lol. But hey, I'm still putting up a good fight and that's what matters.

How are things going for you?

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I think the key for my calves will be to keep wearing my compression sleeves and be diligent with stretching... I figure some time should help. I also want to start getting back into hot yoga so maybe that'll help.

I just use the screen shot function on my phone while in the FitBit app.... what kind of phone do you have?

Hey girl. I have a VERY incompetent cervix. It is paper thin and can only seem to bear about 10oz of weight before it starts weakening. With my first two pregnancies, we didn't know. With my daughter I had a cerclage put in and was on 22hr bed rest. Basically I was only allowed out of the bed to potty, shower and for doctor's appointments. I see a fertility pecialist now (I have PCOS) and I have a high-risk OBGYN.

My warmup routine is really simple.... I just walk for a couple minutes, jog for a couple of minutes, then do some static stretching on the curbside/off the treadmill.

Hehehe. The dog in the rain coat cracks me up too. But I know she needs to get her energy out somehow! :) She was so funny though, she seemed to think that the slower she ran the dryer she'd stay. I've never seen her so unwilling!
