Most things are all about my dogs - but this is all about me. I have been dragging my feet too long, and am bound and determined to get this weight OFF once and for all!!!

While I joined in October of 2007, I really didn't begin until January of 2008. As of January 1, 2009, I edited and updated my goals and ticker to begin anew, and continue this great journey!

It is now 2013, and I can't believe that I haven't updated this page in 4 years. Probably because I have been doing a great deal of living since meeting and surpassing my goals. And it feels good. Nah, it feels Great!!!

I have actually lost a few more pounds, and hover just under 140 for the most part. This is due to tweaking my diet and exercise to get better body composition. More muscle, less fat = more Life!

My diet and exercise are pretty much on auto at this point. I still pop in regularly to see what ya'll are up to, though. And to offer an ear, an opinion, or a virtual hug. Because this space is where it is at. People helping each other to meet and exceed their goals. I might have been able to do this without Sparkpeople, but I doubt it. It certainly would have been more difficult, and far less fun!

Here's hoping I can use this space to get and give inspiration!

My Program:
After over 2 years here, I have my eating mostly on autopilot... I know what portion sizes are, I know what the consequences of eating junk are, and I eat accordingly. Besides, my body mostly rejects junk these days, so no more temptation! ;)

I run three days a week, dance occassionally, bike, hike and backpack... in other words "Keep it moving!!!" Doesn't much matter what it is! ;)

Thank you for adding me as a friend! Your pictures and history are VERY motivating!!! I don't yet have a "strategy" for improving my running, since I'm so new to it, but I understand what you mean, and I think after some of the "Wow I just ran a 5K I can do anything!" feeling wears off, I might talk to a coach about what I can accomplish. For now I'm just going to "keep moving" as you put it! Thanks!!

50K?! That's awesome! I once ran a 50K trail run as a team of five, which means we only ran 10K each :) Good for you!
