Hello all, I am so ready to take the weight off. At my heaviest, I weighed 250 lbs. (I am 5'6") When I joined spark People I was 230 lbs. I have been working-out consistently and trying to eat a set amount of calories. It is not easy but I am getting used to it. I look forward to making real progress. My Goals:
My Goals!!! My first benchmark goal is: 200 Lbs. My second benchmark goal is: 180 Lbs. My ultimate goal is: 140 Lbs!
My Program:
My program includes watching my caloric intake and get plenty of water and exercise. I try to do cardio every day and do strength training every other day. I also squeeze in Yoga and lots of stretching. On the weekends I bike on average of 12 miles. I have biked every weekend for the last 4 weeks and I love it. My endurance is getting better every-time.
Personal Information:
I live in Los Angeles California (the suburbs). I am a single mother raising a two year old son whom is the best gift I have ever received. Some of the passions in my life include art, design, education, family, friends, and building my career.
Other Information:
I am currently working on my Masters of Education and am learning everyday to balance school, work, family, and weight loss. I am doing my best but feel that there is always room for improvement.
