My Goals:
My BIG goal is to lose 117 lbs, but more than that I just want to get healthier and feel better.

My Program:
Like most people I am watching what I eat, especially portion control, and trying to get in some exercise nearly every day, but I think the most important parts of my plan are going to involve accountability and motivation...and that's where YOU come in! :)

Finishing this week fairly well. Wasn't the best, but much better than it has been.

Hey ALove1967! Thanks for reading my blog and posting a comment. I hear you about the heat. Here in Kentucky we are experiencing triple digits and to top it off, we have humidity! I did a 10K today - early in the morning - but really hilly. I was so tired at the end, but also very elated to have set (for me) a new PR! There was a kiddie sprinkler set up at the finish and I'm not too proud to say I went to stand in it for a few minutes! I use the "races" to challenge myself to get better, not to compete! Lord knows, I'm not fast. I finished next to last today, but the point is - I finished! Find a race that supports a cause you agree with and go for it! My first 5K in February was an unamazing 50 minutes. My most recent 5K time is 44:16 as of last week. emoticon
