Inch by Inch

I'm focusing on loving myself and making the changes I do slowly and out of that love. I'm bad about falling into traps of "all-or-nothing," so I'm working hard to be gracious with myself and truly believe that nothing is off limits so long as I stay accountable to it and do it in moderation! Most importantly, I'm staying positive and refusing to believe this won't happen!

- 30 pounds - MET 6/27
- 40 pounds - MET 8/24

Walk and/or run the distance from my house in TN to my old office in NYC by the end of 2013! 804.4 miles!

Stay Positive!

Run/walk the Disney Princess Half Marathon in February 2014!

Be able to take engagement pictures I'm proud of by the end of the year!

Take a vacation that involves biking or hiking or doing something active with Sean!

My Program:
I'm using a Body Media armband to track my calorie burn, and using the Spark People nutrition tracker to track my calorie intake! After trying a lot of different macronutrient ratios and not losing weight (even though I was maintaining a 7000+ calorie deficit each week), I'm now eating a low carb diet (and losing)!

Hey, absolutely! Yes, the ankle injury is coming along and just this week I've been able to start exercising again... but I have to take it easy and no running/jumping for a while!

Looking forward to reading more about your running. I'll live vicariously through you for a while ;)

Hello. I'm apart of the Done girl team with you and doing the spring challenge. Just wanted to stop by and wish you good luck. (I added you as a friend too I hope that is ok).

Hi! I just want to apologize for joining the BLC and not participating. I was in pretty big denial about how bad my weight had gotten (I joined SparkPeople in 2012, lost 40 pounds, and then disappeared to gain it all back).

Thank you!
Isn't weird how the scale wont move, but clothes can fit differently? I think as long as progress is shown somewhere then we know what we are doing is working.
I have been struggling for the past couple of months. But I am slowly getting back into it rather than full blown so I do not overwhelm myself.

Thanks for sharing the part abut it all being on the wagon and some parts are bumpier than others. I hadn't thought of it that way, but it is so true because I am not giving up, and at no point did I actually quit on my journey. I just hit a rough patch so thanks again! emoticon
