My name is Amanda, but everyone calls me Mae for short. I'm your anything but average 21 year old from Boise, Idaho. I have bright, emerald green eyes and brown hair. I am also a smart, and independent individual who has a lot of goals in life and not much time to achieve them. I've always been a bit of the heavier side. My name is Amanda, but everyone calls me Mae for short. I'm your anything but average 21 year old from Boise, Idaho. I have bright, emerald green eyes and brown hair. I am also a smart, and independent individual who has a lot of goals in life and not much time to achieve them. I've always been a bit of the heavier side. It's just in my genes, what with my father's broad shoulders and my mother's wide hips. Luckily for me my body balances it out great, but there is still a lot of work to be done.

I've been suffering through minor depression since I was 8 years old because that's the beginning of the torment and ridicule that I got for being bigger than other kids. I was never able to fully keep up in Physical Education, and because I was a tad bigger than most kids, I was considered the black sheep of the school. I was even told by my teachers that I wouldn't graduate high school because of the way I was. They were wrong.

One reason I began getting serious about eating healthy and working out is mostly because my Dad. On October 2nd, 2010, my dad suffered from a major heart attack, and ended up having 4 more at the St. Luke's Hospital in a period of 48 hours. I was stressed, and dropped out of school to take care of my family. Not only was I afraid for my dad, I was afraid for myself. I had his genes. In 20 years, I could be on my death bed.

My ultimate goal is to have a smaller waist line, and to have a completely flat, toned tummy. I also want to have more toned arms, legs a booty! I also want to live a healthier life, and do more activities to help keep me active.

I will mostly be working on cardio, and doing some strength training in between. I have access to the gym to help workout my back and toning my arms and butt, otherwise most of my workouts will be done at home.
