2nd 5% Challenge Starts May 11th!!!

At the beginning of the year I signed up for the January Jumpstart Challenge and then only did 1 day. I didn't have any motivation and didn't know where to find it either. February came and I got an invite to join The 5% Challenge. I accepted and then wondered if I would actually do it.

First week of the Challenge I was good exercising most days and tracking my food, but the second week I lost that motivation again. I posted a few blogs and messages to the team and from the ...
At the beginning of the year I signed up for the January Jumpstart Challenge and then only did 1 day. I didn't have any motivation and didn't know where to find it either. February came and I got an invite to join The 5% Challenge. I accepted and then wondered if I would actually do it.

First week of the Challenge I was good exercising most days and tracking my food, but the second week I lost that motivation again. I posted a few blogs and messages to the team and from the response I got back from my team I got back on track. From the 3rd week on I was an active member of the team and even ended the challenge as an EL!

What I have gained from this Challenge is beyond explanation. All I can say is THANK YOU to whoever it was that sent me that invite because it changed the course of my journey for the better. I didn't lose my 5% but I did lose 6 lbs and have even managed to keep most of it off during this short intermission before the next Challenge starts.

If you get an invite and are looking for a way to get motivated then this is the Challenge that you should accept!!!!!

Married for a little over a year.

Have an office job so I sit for most of the day but I'm doing what I can to increase my movements throughout the day with the help of my Fitbit One.

Other Information:
I like to read, dance, listen to music, and go to the movies. I am crazy in love with my DH.

My guy doesn't like to get up and go either, but once he is there, he enjoys it. Maybe you can find some ladies to go do things with or family members. Then, he can have a few days at home alone and you can still get out and about. We are a family of 6, and 4 of us like to go, go, go, but two would prefer to stay home and putter around the house or be on the computer all day. It is not always easy to find the beneficial middle, but it is worth the effort. I hope you have more luck finding yours.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. The cruise starts from London then up the east coast to the Faroe Islands, along the coast of Norway and finishes in Iceland. We get to swim in the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. I have never been on a cruise before and never thought to either. I only have to keep quiet around DH, so should be able to manage it but it won't be that easy. emoticon
