Starting, again!

Definitely more focused this time around. Looking to sp for inspiration and motivation. I love seeing the weight others have lost. It makes me kick myself and try harder. I'm also forcing myself to step on the scale regularly. I can't deal with what I don't acknowledge.

Weigh 160 by spring.


My Program:
Lose weight in smaller chunks. 4-5 pounds in 2 weeks. 10 pounds in a month. Eat less, move more!
1200 calories a day

Personal Information:
Live in upstate NY. Teach high school special education . Married. 3 kids. Love to eat, drink, go to restaurants. Love to travel, read, do crafts, puzzles, crochet.

Other Information:
Stressful job, miserable boss. Counting the days until retirement.
Counting my blessings though. I have a good job, amazing, wonderful husband, wonderful, loving, kind, funny children, lovely home, good friends.

I am not trying to lose "so little". I really want to lose 20 - 30 pounds, but that is too much to deal with right now. So, I am dividing my large goal into smaller, less difficult obstacles. Right now I am shooting for Christmas to reach my personal target.

Compared to many of us who are really over weight, your wanting to lose so little seems funny. But it is always those few pounds that are the most difficult. My mother always was trying to get 10 or so pounds off. Good luck on your journey.
