Hey there Spark friends, I thought it was time for an update. My page is getting boring and some of my goals have changed a bit. Still trying to get fit and lose weight. I work in a kitchen where I am around food all day not good for the waist line at all. Trying to figure out what's next for me as my girl finishes up her senior year of high school and starts her own life. I have been a mom for 20 years, now I have to figure out how to take my life back. I have a son who has been out of ...
Hey there Spark friends, I thought it was time for an update. My page is getting boring and some of my goals have changed a bit. Still trying to get fit and lose weight. I work in a kitchen where I am around food all day not good for the waist line at all. Trying to figure out what's next for me as my girl finishes up her senior year of high school and starts her own life. I have been a mom for 20 years, now I have to figure out how to take my life back. I have a son who has been out of school erythromycin for a couple years and no longer lives at home I also have a very supportive sweetie and 4 cats. Been tracking what I eat and getting back into my workouts. Been using the Spark Activity Tracker for a little over a month now, it's pretty cool I think it's going to be very useful.

Update...as of today(3/10/11) i have a nother goal. You see i have just found out that they are in the process of planning for out 20 year class reunion, some time in July - THIS YEAR...yikes. So my original goal was to lose 57 pounds by september...I'd like to be at least half way there by July.

So this morning i decided to stop letting the weather be an excuse for me not to exercise...lol. After all i am a NEW YORKER...and i am used to this kind of weather. So today i decided to get off my hind end and do yesterdays strength training workout plan. I completed it and found out that i met my weekly calorie burn goal by just getting 2 days of exercise this week...YAY ME!

Yesterday i posted some new pics of me...one from when i was 18...my senior picture, and the other one is what i look like today. Hopefully it will be some inspiration for me...

Happy Sunday. Hope you're summer is going great. Are you still on track to do all you can today to reach your goals tomorrow? If so, great! If not, what can you change today that will help you feel accomplished? One little thing. Drink more water? Cut out soda? Go for a walk? Small changes add up.
