2014 = A Year to Shine!

Welcome to my SparkPage. I found SP by doing a google search on healthy eating, then tried looking up free diets.

I have been successful in learning to live a healthier lifestyle. Life has many twists and turns and it is what you do with what is handed to you that molds you into the person you are or want to become.

My Goals:
Take small steps this time. I have decided to set small goals and really work on some trouble spots.

4/10/2013 (DONE 4/14/2013): Create a vision collage and post on my page. I am teaming up with a buddy to get this done.

For these to be considered done, they must have been completed each day for 1 month. If it takes too long, evaluate and re-focus.
4/18/2013: 1)-(DONE 6/15/2013-ongoing battle)Eliminate unplanned nighttime eating. 5/20: realized that eating an early dinner definitely leads to overeating. Will find the perfect time for dinner that works to fine tune this issue.

2)-(Done-5/20/2013)Drink 64 oz or more of water daily.
3) Figure out how to add in strength. Thinking about adding in my Fit Firm and Fired up Dvd I received with my "Spark Solution" book. 6/2: Refocus on this dvd for now and commit to 3 times this week.
6/15: refocus again...will add 10 minute video

My Program:
1) Currently watching my current eating habits.

2) Drink 3-32 oz mugs of water daily.

3) Get 10000 steps in a day 5-6 days a week

Thanks for the update. You can do it! I know it's tough when you are working a lot, but just remember those small bits can really make a difference: 10-20 minutes here or there. Good luck--and thank you for the congrats!

Hope your week went well and your weekend is even better.
My Daughter in law and Daughter both sent pictures of themselves after running today. I had already spent an hour at water aerobics in the morning but I was so motivated that I thought I'd run to the hwy (2.2 miles). But when I got out there I ended up going the other direction also and that put me at 3.4 miles with a total walk/run time of 43 minutes. It's my first baseline 5K time. On the treadmill it's been taking me 48 minutes this week.
So the moral of the story??? Send work out pictures...LOL
