It's Always Bikini Season in Miami
Hi, I'm Kelly. Being only 5'1'' means I have always struggled with my weight because a little bit shows a lot on such a small frame! I am a master's of accounting student with a (not so) secret ambition to be a nutritionist. I do not claim to be an expert by any means BUT I know far more than your average American. Just because I know all about nutrition doesn't mean I don't struggle to take my own advice. I eat 90-95% healthy food but often struggle with portion size ...
I eat 90-95% healthy food but often struggle with portion size especially due to my small size. If you have nutrition questions please feel free to ask and I welcome and reciprocate all friend requests :) My past: I was a skinny child, but my weight has yo-yoed ever since. For the last three years I was at about 125-130lbs (prob 135-137 highest) which is a lot on little me but since Sept 2008 have changed my diet and begun exercising to work down to a healthier weight. Since joining SP I have really pumped up my workout routine to 5-6 days a week (minimum 45min- about 7-8 hrs total/wk) and am working on now adding strength training to achieve my dream body (TONED!!) My biggest goal this minute is to get fit and toned since there is no hiding from a bikini when you live in Miami! Best of luck to all here :) ** I get many many many questions on my diet. I am more than happy to answer but please check out some of my blogs first. I have posted many that focus extensively on my food to help answer many of the most common questions. I will continue to add to them on a variety of topics including my personal lifestyle and choices, opinions on diet and health issues, and tips for those looking for a place to start. Please remember that my lifestyle was not an overnight transformation and the best way to change your diet is gradually. One small change every week gives focus and builds slowly to a healthy lifestyle that is easy to maintain vs changing everything at once as is typically found in the diet mentality**
