No More Excuses!

I have used every excuse one can think of, as to why I could not exercise or eat healthy.

I am done with excuses, they never got me anywhere, and left me feeling frustrated and unhappy with myself.

I deserve to feel good about myself. I deserve to be healthy, and I deserve to be fit. I am the only one who can make that possible, and I will work hard to attain it.

In February 2009, I ran my first marathon. This is something I would never, ever have imagined myself doing. I always thought running, and especially marathons, were for super athletic individuals, who had been running for a long time.

I trained hard for 7 months, and met a once perceived, unattainble goal.

I am hooked on running, and even more motivated to meet future goals.

I still have weight to lose, and new fitness goals to achieve, and with tons of hard work and determination, I know I will get there.

And, so can you!

Hey Angie, I read your blog post about running and I just wanted to let you know that you're totally an inspiration to me. I've been struggling with when to push myself and when to pull back and reading your post was a great reminder to listen to my body. Thanks!

(::hugs:: i'm sorry you are feeling frustrated, too. i think my lack of sleep combined with stress levels is making me one whiny green girl lately!

i looked at my past three sparkblogs and i'm all negative.

i need to pull myself out of this funk!)

Hi Angie! Did you go to the Loper all-club run yesterday? I kept looking for you to say hi, and i kept asking ladies with dark hair that might've been you "are you Angie?" They all thought I was crazy! I'm sorry we didn't connect... maybe at LB?

(hey girl, how did you do the 30ds?

i was looking online and seems some people recommend doing each level for 6 days with 1 rest day per week.

right now, i'm trying to see how i can work this in. i'm thinking if i can get myself to wake up early monday through thursday, i can do it before i go to work and then i can do my usual kickboxing and running. and then i work from home on fridays so i can do my usual friday early morning pilates and then one of the shred workouts.

so basically, i'm thinking of only doing it 5 days a week, what do you think? i do my long runs on saturday and sunday i walk with the long beach sparkteam, kickbox, and then sometimes run, too. i'm thinking squeezing in another day might be too much?)
