Me Revisited

I was a collegiate runner, marathoner, NCAA D1 rower, competitive power lifter, personal trainer. But all that pales in comparison to my newest feat of being a mom to a toddler! Lost the baby weight, now staying fit for him, for me, and to make it easier to re-enter the job market again as a nutritionist/personal trainer when he's older!

Hi, Anji,

Thanks for stopping by my "Surf's Up" blog today. I'm glad that you like my accountability of reading scripture before I check my cell phone. I can really get obsessive with that darn phone. I decided for Lent that I want to put God first. I have a couple of scripture apps on my phone now. So I read them before checking email or Facebook. It seems to be working pretty well so far.

I was sorry to hear about your hip fracture. I hope that you are fully recovered now and are well on your way to being your fittest! Good luck with your career as an RD. If I were a younger woman, I think that I would pursue that career too!

Welcome to Spark Kentucky. Looks like we have similar goals - only I started a decade or so behind you (trust me - its good that you didn't wait until my age to start)!

Anywho, I run, swim, bike...well - I swim enough for triathlons but it a REALLY pitiful site emoticon

Good luck and let us know if we can help! emoticon emoticon
