I'm a yo-yo dieter who finally got down to her goal weight at WW and stayed there for over 6 years. WooHoo! But over the past 1.5 years a lot has happened and I did not eat and exercise the way I should. I was tracking off and on during this period and really not exercising like I used to. Trying to lose weight being post-menopausal is not easy either! I'm above goal weight so things have to change. Going to do challenges, eat healthier and exercise more!

My Goals:
My Smart goals for 2017 are:
1. Get back into my maintenance range 130-136
2. Eat between 1200 - 1400 calories a day
3. Track, track, track and measure
4. Exercise: need to use my weights again but will start slow (3#) and increase - do 2-3x/week.
5. Walk and work up to 10,000+ steps again
6. Need new recipes to keep me on track - check out some of the recipes I've saved and make one a week.

My Program:
Central Time Zone (CDT)
1. Cardio Exercise every day and get back to strength/weights 3x/week
2. Stay in my calorie range and cut back on sugar. Eat healthier.
2. Ill use what I learned from WW and use WW tracker
3. Will help encourage all whenever I can.
4. Go Team!

Personal Information:
I'm from the mid-west. Lived in NY for quite a few years and then we moved back to the mid-west now retired down south!
Our dogs and cats are our kids :-)
Out sweet kitty walked over the rainbow bridge 7/3/14. . We miss her very much. A stray came into our lives before she passed away and I think he acquired a lot of her great personality. He's so sweet!

Other Information:
Enjoy movies but usually rent DVDs to see one.
Love readng. Read mysteries most of the time - Evanovich is one of my favorites. Coffeehouse mysteries also.
Enjoy walking, also using the elliptical, recumbent bike and doing walking tapes. Do not have a trainer at the gym anymore so trying to do strength myself at home.

    You're so sweet! This makes me want to cry. I moved from the house I'd been in for almost 39 years to an over 55 community 3 months ago. They said it NEVER flooded. I am on a corner with 2 completely flooded streets and the water is about 5 feet from one corner of my house and the bayou behind me is full. Today is much worse than yesterday and there's just been a little rain. But others in Houston have lost everything so I am praying and hoping that it will all work out. I do have flood insurance...others don't. My daughter has water and leaks. I have leaks but so far, no water. It's never been so scary. I really appreciate your kind words and the Bear Hug Goodies! As long as I have power I think I'll be okay. I'll check back when I can.
