Anne is aiming to be healthy and fit for life.

I am a palliative care nurse/lecturer, working full time I have been married for thirty seven years and have an adult son and daughter. One grand daughter age 3 and two young cats.
Reached goal in October 2010 having lost 32lbs maintained for 4 years but slowly have regained 12 lb. Over the last year I have lost and gained the same 9lbs. Sparks keep me from gaining more I have the knowledge and the tools take control again.

My Goals:
Now 57 and feel I need to make the effort to keep fit and healthy.

Reached goal weight October 2010 and have maintained for 4 years but now regained 12 lbs so time to take control and shift these lbs.

My Program:
Aim to do 30 mins + exercise every day to run 3 miles twice a week and walk at least a mile in my lunch break when I am at work. I am not tracking my food but watch what I eat and need to go for portion control and not use food as a reward . I am also aiming to drink 6+ glasses of water a day.

Personal Information:
My name is Anne I live in Chelmsford in Essex, England. I am 57 years old and am married with two grown up children, one granddaughter and two young cats.
I work full time as a palliative care nurse/lecturer in a hospice.

Other Information:
I read lots, at present mostly crime and thrillers.
Enjoy my home and garden.
Learning to enjoy exercise I run a little, do exercise DVD's and a little hula hooping .

Hiya, I saw your post on the Fly Lady team chat that you'd been to your Park Run. I was marshalling at our Park Run this morning - boy was it muddy! My Park Run is Penrose, down near Helston in Cornwall. Which one is yours? Our course is very 'multi-terrain' and it's not a place to get good times, but I've been slowly improving my time. I love the comraderie. I am a shift-worker so can't get to them every week sadly - but I'm so glad there is one near enough for me to get to. It's been going about 10 months. Happy Running!

Hi Honey! Thanks for popping by my blog. It is good to be back. :-) If I can lose a pound a week I'll be thrilled! Flippin' hard exercising with the sciatic nerve giving me jip, but the doc says exercise is good for it, so doing my best. :-)
As for the rest of the issues, well, they have stopped all ganging up at once, at least for a couple of days they have. I never know what the next day will bring. LOL
