You're right Anne, it was scary. He was at his girlfriends almost 2 hours away from home. She called his parents and they met at a hospital half way between them; turned out to be a good decision-he was in a lot of pain. That was 10:30 Sunday night, the surgery at noon Monday. Appendix was in bad shape, I don't really know what that means. They kept him overnight for observation and he was discharged Tuesday morning. He's on antibiotics and pain meds, up and about, body functions seem OK. Still, I remain concerned; since Oct. he's had mono and the flu. Youth gives you a pass on a lot but not taking care of yourself will collect it's fee. I'm hoping this is a turn around for him. Thanks for caring. 44 days ago
Hi Anne Well,,,,,,,,,,doc says unlikely to be Lupus, could be Sjorgen's Syndrome (as already diagnosed by another doc) but it's an anti-immune problem of some sort seeing his other doctor next week pending yet more blood tests. It's getting to Pete, I can see it in his face and body language- he's so fed up with all the low grade ailments................... I am getting there
Pete and I don't do Valentine's Day as we met 2 days later on 16/2/1974! and we mark that as our anniversary as we never married.......I shall be DRAGGING him out for a meal at the weekend all being well.
Going anywhere nice next week, or are your going to that well loved place Stopathome.
