Annie 1114's Journey

I joined SparkPeople about two years ago in a serious attempt to lose weight. I lost 30 pounds in about a year. Lately, I have just been enjoying the journey. Since I have joined Spark I have learned to like exercise and healthy eating. Exercise has become very important in my everyday life. This would never have happened if I had not joined SparkPeople. Even though I would still like to lose 10 to 20 more pounds , right now I am more focused on not gaining any weight during the fall through ...

Annie I totally forgot you are a Kentuckian. emoticon The gym I visited was workout anytime in BG. The premium membership is 25 and basic 15. I loved the atmosphere. They are planning a second location( soon) in Glasgow. The premium membership would let me take a guest every time I go. I might investigate PF before making a decision. Knowing that WA is planning a branch here though is a real selling factor. Thanks!

Smiles. Sugar thinks she's a pest and when she gets tired of Tarra trying to catch her tail or chew on her feet she just walks away. I think Xena thinks puppies are too stupid and unpredictible to mess with. I'll know better when Tarra comes to stay for 3 days at the end of the month. Thanks for the visit. Enjoy your week.

Hi Annie, Yes, I welcomed the 1.5" of rain we got last night; it helped the yard a lot. The hype is getting ridiculous. My brother in MI called me this morning to see if I was alright; saw the weather on the news. What we had here was a thunderstorm, no more/no less. They wear you out with it so; it's hard to take them seriously when it's important to! I did get the south fenceline weeded and mulched as planned. Couldn't have without the rain last night; yesterday the ground was like concrete! It's been a beautiful day. Just in from walking Sugar; now headed to the yard to get my hooping in. Gotta keep that streak going! Today is day 555! emoticon

Thanks Annie! My yard is desperate for rain and we got one brief shower; didn't even get my patio wet! Radar shows storms heading right for us and then next thing I know they are on the other side of us and still no rain. Maybe tonight or in the morning. If not; I'll have to start running the hoses. I just looked up and laughed at my girls; look like they've been slaughtered. Both spread eagle on the floor in the middle of the family room "passed out" with 3 beds right behind them! Of course, my camera is up in the kitchen--I was hoping to catch a rainbow from the deck. Well, that's obviously not going to happen. Still, life is good. Smiles.
