Adventure starts in the mind

Adventure starts in the mind, then travels to the heart. Luci Swindoll

The goal: Feel good, look good.

The plan: Eat less, move more.
1) Eat 3-5 smaller meals
2) Avoid eating 2 hours before bedtime.

Don't stop. Don't give up. Don't stop. Don't give up. You'll get it right.

Persistence, not perfection.

Hey Annie!

So glad you're home and feeling better!

Thanks for all the comments! It's okay to be starting over. There are no rules here. I'll remind you of one of your goals; persistence. Keep reaching for your goals and He will keep blessing you.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is HIS faithfulness!

I'm still working on adopting your goals. I do well one day and then flop the next. I have to cling to the thought that every day is fresh with no mistakes in it yet.

My boss at Walgreens has not said one word to me about getting off for the 4 days of the Global Summit. I doubt he'll let me off. I would be fine with that, if he would just say so.

My mentor arranged it so I wouldn't have to pay for the hotel room, so the financial part would be covered. But, it falls on the same day as our Walgreens Holiday Tour. This is an annual event in the store where the VPs from the coporate office come to inspect the store, test the employees, and judge our Christmas decorations. Our store has won first place in our district every year except last year when we came in second because of unexpected areas of judging that we were not informed of.

In any case, thank you for your prayers. Just having been invited is a great honor. My mentor is gathering world leaders from all over to have a "round table" discussion while at the Summit. There is great potential for world change to come forth from this conference.
