If you got a traffic ticket, would you break every traffic law the rest of the day? Then why would you toss the whole day over a slice of pizza? - Indygirl

One slice of pizza has less calories than two slices of pizza. -Indygirl (I am writing this from memory so it may not be an exact quote.)

If you think to yourself "I might as well," change it to "I might as well not." - Indygirl

Having a bad day is like getting a flat tire. You fix it and get back the road; you don't go around the car in a frenzy popping the other three tires. - Indygirl

losing weight is as hard as you make it.....it's really up to you...once I focused on what I could eat, on what I could do....once I stop making excuses for myself and resigned my thinking to positive thinking and stop telling myself how unfair it all was...I made progress.. -KITT52

I have made a commitment to myself, that I will never ever give up....I am the person responsible for my weight....I am responsible for my happiness, my health and my life... - Kitt52

Hey Annie,

thank you for the comments and the advice! I actually started the Atkins diet because I found a food journal called The New Atkins for a New You Workbook by Colette Heimowitz. This is what's kept me on track. I can't count net carbs on SP and the Atkins website doesn't allow full tracking, so this book's been my guideline. I didn't know she'd written a cookbook. I picked up Dr. Atkins New Diet Cookbook and it's got some great ideas in it.
