My Goals:
Long term goal for 2014: Embrace this journey to a healthier lifestyle that has me releasing excess weight and enjoying every day as a new opportunity.

Long term weight loss goal: 35 pounds by June 2014.

Long term fitness goal: Run a 5k in 2014

My Program:
Daily meditation and prayer; positive affirmations; keeping my goals in front of me.

Track food daily and stay in calorie range by eating clean...no processed foods.

6000 SparkActivity steps daily....
Get out of the house and to the gym 4 times a week.

Personal Information:
I live in Naperville, Illinois which is about 35 miles west of Chicago. I have 5 children but only 1 is living at home at this time. I have a wiener dog named Mia. I volunteer at a homeless shelter, write articles for a website and enjoy Chicago sports teams Bears, Bulls, Sox and Blackhawks!

PS: Good luck on your journey! I last weighed myself over a month ago, and I probably won't weigh myself again for a very VERY long time. I've only weighed myself 4 times since 2012. I prefer to gauge my success by NSV's such as how my clothes feel and how much stamina I have during workouts. When I get on the scale, I tend to obsess over the numbers and I'd rather not do that.
