It's difficult to pick a screen name when it's your fifth or so time joining the site you are trying to enter. I know I didn't need to create a new account but I didn't want to be faced with old comments about such as 'This is the time' when time in fact had shown that it wasn't my time to succeed. I wanted a fresh beginning without whatever was in the past.

I tried a lot of different options, all of them were taking and I was listening to music meanwhile and in one of the songs there was a line about being anyone else and I liked that. At that point when I created the account. All I wanted was to be anyone else.

I had just quit my job, I was stressed, borderline depressed and my weight was going up, up, up without any obvious way of controlling it. I managed to gain 8 lbs after creating the account and that's when I hit rock bottom. Now the good thing about hitting the bottom is that there's only one way to go from there and that's up.

Fast forward just under 3 months. Today. I am finally getting around to adding the photo and writing a bit about myself. A couple of weeks into the new year I found a way of eating that my body responded positively on and now a month later I'm down 18 lbs. I still got a long way to go but I am finally in a place where I know I can simply take it one day at the time.

My Goals:
For years and years I sat weight related goals and whenever I didn't meet them (even if it was as little as a kg) I would beat myself up about it and fail to continue. So I'm done setting weight related goals.

My current goal is to cut 10 minutes off my 5K time before June 1st.

My Program:
I'm eating after the principles of LCHF which is Low Carb, High Fat. I've tried every solution out there. This is the first one I've been able to stick to for more than a week so I'm thinking it's a winner. I feel great - and I'm losing weight so I'm going to stick with this way of eating.

Hi,
Welcome to the Partnership Accountability to the Finish Line team! We are happy to have you with our team. Please feel free to introduce yourself to the team, if you have not already done so. Be sure to read the thread: "Click Here: To help find a partner and learn what to do next". It will help you find someone who has similar goals, likes, dislikes, or someone close to your age if you prefer. You will both be able to support, encourage, and just be there for each other, while on your way in reaching your goals.

If you need help finding someone or need help of any kind, please let me know, as I am here to help you in anyway I can. Hope you enjoy this team and are able to achieve any goals you might have on this team or any others you might join.
