Restart!

After a tough 3-4 months of moving to the other side of the country, locum work, more moving and starting a new job I'm pressing the restart button! Unfortunately I'm back up to 87kg (192lbs) but I know what to do to change that and I feel recommitted to doing it after a few months of being ambivalent about the whole process. So it is back to cutting calories, tracking calories and reintroducing exercises. Hopefully my injuries picked up last year stay away!

Saw your comment on Snowfilly's page! How did a Connecticut girl wind up in Australia? By the way, I have always wanted to visit there! emoticon

Sad to say I don't have any hills near. Plus gun deer season starts this weekend, plus everything being so slippery out. At least I have my indoor.
Glad you are feeling better.

Thank you so much for the info and support. Yesterday I didn't see it stick at all. I am thinking that if that keeps up I will be able to ride her soon, maybe in a few days. She is 6 years old. I am hoping that I can wait till spring to have the surgery done. The Vet is 2 hours away and it is winter here, so would like to wait so I don't have to worry about the roads.
I hope you are feeling better. Are you still working while you are feeling sick? Have you been to a Dr.? Take care my friend.
Thank you again.
Also, Honey, my mare is just loving the attention. I love it too!!

Thank you for commenting. He said something about splitting. A small incision, splitting and maybe one stitch. Done while standing. She needs it on both hind legs. He would do it all in one surgery.
She has had issues with the locking since I got her as a weanling. Nothing for about the last 1 1/2 years. I had to put my older horse down about the end of Sept. She really took it bad. I have been walking her over poles, straight line. Increasing the time each time I walk her. Any other suggestions?
