Tee here. I gained a lot of weight after accidents, surgeries, etc. I have thyroid, Hashimoto and other medical conditions. The journey to healing, losing weight and optimal health is long and difficult.

I have had thyroid disease for over 30 years and never been in worse shape or condition. I lost five pounds last year and would have given up if it were not for the support of Spark members, gym instructors and swim buddies I enjoy swimming, weight lifting, ...

I am determine to rid myself of weight, health problems and live life to the fullest.

2009: This is the year!

No more excuses! I have been with Spark for 18 months and have not lost the amount of weight I want or need to lose. I diet, drink water, log and do aerobics but skip meals, vitamins and lifting weights. I read health improvement books in December and am prepared to make changes. This is the year for me to accomplish what I set out to do 18 months ago. A Biggest Loser trainer suggested writing a list of things I want to accomplish in 2009. I am ready to compose the list as soon as I locate a pen and paper.

Laundry and chores! 2 things I have to get busy with! But I'm having too much fun getting my recipes into SP and cooking food for my freezer!!

Thanks for the jeans, it feels better to fit into an old pair that I've just been waiting to get back into! And I will pick up that insulan resistance book. It sounds like it's working wonders for you. And i really feel the chromium is helping keep my cravings and appetite under control. I couldn't have done that without your suggestion. Boy, I can't tell you how much you've been an encouragement to me.
