Mimi's Journey
I'm 62 years old, I teach a water aerobic class and I work in a health club along with being a hairdresser, wife , mother & grandmother. My life is very busy working 65 hours a week, I need to be a better example to all of those who depend on me so therefore this year I've made a resolution to take better care of myself. This is my first step.

My Program:
I will be planing my meals to take to work. I'm going to try to make more time for myself. Walking farther , wearing a pedomoter to walk 10,000 steps a day. I would like to take a Zumba class and use some weight machines at the health club.

Love this quote........When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed I could change the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change. so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country. But it to seemed immovable. As I grew into my twilight years in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it. And now as I lie on my deathbead, I suddenly realize: if I had only changed myself first, then by example I could have changed my family. From their inspiration and encouragement. I would have been able to better my country and,who knows. I may have changed the world. (Anonymous)

I love your quote about changing yourself. I'm 61 and I sure know if I had my life to live over again, I'd never have been married to anyone. I'd have done for myself, but of course, growing up in the '50's that was "selfish" and I wasn't allowed to think of anything like that. I know life has gone by so fast and this is the only one I'll ever have, so I know I would have done for me.
