finally got a grip!

Hi, and welcome to my spark page. As I said in my title I have finally managed to 'get a grip'. And by this I mean, it has dawned on me that after 30 years of dieting of being fat and thin. I now have a life. I exercise daily and am mindful of what I eat. I no longer binge and spend all my time on the sofa. And my revelation; knowing I couldn't fit in an airline seat.
So, I started to be kind to myself and that set me on the journey of weight loss and better health. I have lost 84lbs ...

I now have a life. I exercise daily and am mindful of what I eat. I no longer binge and spend all my time on the sofa. And my revelation; knowing I couldn't fit in an airline seat.
So, I started to be kind to myself and that set me on the journey of weight loss and better health. I have lost 84lbs so far after nearly 10 months and that is good. I have no goal and only weigh myself every other week, and do you know it work's for me. So I aint gonna stop, but there will come a time when I have too and there will be another challenge for me.

I swim 3 times a week. I have managed to progress to swimming breaststroke 50 lengths in 34 minutes.

Personal Information:
I am from Inverness, in Scotland. Inverness is right beside Loch Ness and sometimes i feel like the loch ness monster!

Other Information:
I dont weigh myself very often. But have found if set a monthly date then I can cope better with those scary scales!
