Living your life without Intention is like getting into a boat and setting it adrift. You need to decide where you are going with your life. If you don't, someone is going to commandeer you to help them achieve their goals instead of yours.

My name is Megan. I'm an artist and farmer, living on the Big
Island of Hawaii. I'm a work in progress, still looking for the right formula to crack the code that is me! The good news, I'm getting closer.

WHITNEYTEACHER

Hi, I just added you as a friend on my new Spark page. My new name is LADYOFTHEFOREST, I was WHITNEYTEACHER. I hope I don't lose anyone in the change, I set my page to private so only people from our team can see it. Until I get more points on my new page I can only post messages from WHITNEYTEACHER (just to make it more confusing).

Hi! Hope you don't mind, but I just added you as a friend. I just joined SP & they listed you as a possible friend. Your name attracted me, then I looked at your SP & loved it. We are of like mind:)

And thanks for the goodie! Hoo boy yes please!!! A massage sounds wonderful.

(sorry about accidentally unfriending you--I clicked on it by accident. Hopefully you are back to being listed as my friend).

Thank you for your comment on my blog--for which you actually had excellent timing, actually. Since I wrote that blog in April, I have injured myself several times (bike accident in June that reduced my activity a lot for over a month, then a broken toe at the end of July that really screwed up my hip, knee, and the heel on the other foot), gotten sick, and been sidelined by a serious plague of allergies and related migraines. It's been a rough four months, and one of the big casualties has been exercise... and I can be pretty hard on myself for that.

BUT--not only did your comment cause me to re-read my own blog, written at a point when I was struggling, yes, but for all that was a reminder of what I have accomplished, what I can do, and how far I really have come as well, but it also reminded me that Tuesday I walked for the first time in what felt like forever, and last night I fenced for the first time in over a month. And I did a lot better than I thought I would. Sure, I was really rusty and it showed, especially in the first few passes (against my husband using my least favorite--and physically most demanding--style, which is 2 swords) but it came back faster than I had expected, I had fun, and I got in a lot more passes than I had expected to be able to.

And you reminded me that that isn't easy. It does require strength, and stamina, and flexibility, and hand eye coordination.

So thank you.
