Well, here I am again. Ha. I have lost and re-lost this weight so many times, I should be ashamed, but I'm not. I refuse to be! You wanna know why? Because every single time I've failed, I have learned at least one thing that helps me become more successful the next time I try!

This last set back put me 16 pounds heavier than a weight I'd been maintaining for six months. I am not ok with that so I am at it again. Prior to this "failure" I did not realize how important accountability is. ((Now I know.)) I have decided to try again. I figure what else could go wrong? What do I have to lose except my frustration, weight in pounds, and agony over the defeat? In fact, that sounds great!

Here's to try, try, trying again! I wish I was perfect, and I could've nailed this the first time (25 years ago), but I will not spend one more moment beating myself up about that. No, instead I will focus on what I can do right, and that is the reality that I can get up once more!

I am beginning my journey December 19th, 2012. I am in it for the long haul and am determined to make whatever changes necessary to regain control of my health.

GOAL 1: 249 lbs.
REACHED: 1/29/13

GOAL 2: 239 lbs.
REACHED: 3/7/13

GOAL 3: 223 lbs.
REACHED: 5/10/13

GOAL 4: 217 lbs.
REACHED: 5/17/13

GOAL 5: 210 lbs.

My first goal is to track without cheating. To just get familiar with what I am eating. I also want to know more about why I eat and when so I'll be doing a lot of blogging. After those things are down, and the amount and type of food I am eating is down pat, I will incorporate excercise. I may wait until I am around 200 lbs. to start that up. I am 271 lbs.


My Program:
I plan to eat mostly fruits and vegetables while concentrating on my protien intake to curb hunger. I have been doing this for years, but ate a lot of sweets along side it, so cutting those out for the most part. I really want to know why I overeat and face every battle, challenge and fear so a lot of soul searching will be incorporated. Exercise will come later. I have been very religious about it in the past. At 250 lbs. I have ran a mile in less than 15 minutes over the summer of 2012. Not too bad, but certainly not my goal. This time however, I am taking my time, as my real problem is with food.



Personal Information:
I am a happily married mother of five. My children are 20, 17, 15, 4 and 1. I graduated college in 2007 with a BSBA and plan to use it before I am 50. (I hope, lol) For now, I am a stay at home mother working on me.
