A little less Amy

I came to SparkPeople on August 20, 2012 weighing 253 lbs. For nine months, I was very devoted to tracking and exercising and lost roughly 50 lbs before I turned 40 last July. Since my birthday, I have been struggling and regained some weight.

April/May 2014: I am trying Jenny Craig for a couple of months. Work is crazy and I need an easy "grab and go" option.

I am from Alabama, have three daughters and work full time.

I came to sparkpeople because I am pre-diabetic and want to get healthier and reduce my blood sugar. For now, I have cut all bread, pasta, and sugar from my diet.

I struggle with cooking at home for myself, my husband and three picky kids.

Hi Amy,
Just had a chance to catch up with your blogs this month. Congrats on doing JC! You are really doing well. It is not a cop out. You are taking action to fight for your health and that means a lot! I have been back and forth on SP this month and it is showing on the scale. So hard to balance everything and exercise seems to be the first thing to go for me. Going to try and keep a schedule of working out early morning so that I get it out of the way. Hope you keep up the good work. Take care.
