My Goals:
I am hoping to to weigh at least 140 lbs by March of 2011. So I have about 100 lbs to lose.

Haven't set any short term goals yet!

My Program:
Eat 1,550 calories a day

Burn 2,450 calories a day

On days that I work out (which hasn't been very much thanks to school and work) eat and burn more

Have a daily deficit of 900 calories which should result in 1.75lb weight loss a week

I recently purchased a bodybugg to help keep track of the calories that I burn

I have stopped drinking pop (which was all I used to ever drink, no water whatsoever) and now only drink water and 1 glass of green tea in the morning

Cut out products that have aspartame in them and try to only eat whole-grain foods

My fiance and I used to eat out all the time, I guess you could say it was one of our "hobbies." We are trying not to eat out ever, and instead prepare all of our meals at home

Personal Information:
I am originally from Taylor, Michigan but recently moved to Northern Michigan (Gaylord) in October 2009.

Never really been involved in an online community to meet new people, so I'm excited to find people going through the same thing as me.

Other Information:
I have recently became "nutrition obsessed." I have done so much reading and research lately and learned so much! Knowledge is power. I feel like I could talk about portions, calories, carbs, protein all day long! Don't get me started...haha!

I currently work part-time and going to school full-time for Elementary Education. I am hoping to graduate Fall of 2012.
