Hi Spark Friends, My name is Jessica, I'm 23 year old (almost 24!), and currently reside in Georgia. I'm currently looking to rent a home with my wonderful boyfriend. We have two chihuahuas and two pit bull/great dane mixes. I'm also pushing for a kitten ;).

All through out my childhood I've been "average" sized, yet not particularly skinny. I got a wake up call my freshman year after many poor lifestyle choices. I had gained 20 pounds in less than a year. I yo-yoed drastically with my weight all through out college.

Two years later, I am at the stage of my life where my body doesn't lose the weight as quickly. I'm to the point where I just want to learn to live a healthy lifestyle so I don't have to constantly think about calories or be obsessive about working out. I just want to live my life!

Current Status:
ASHLING9 has decided that I'm going to run a full marathon instead of a half at the end of october. This is in addition to the 87 mile skate in the begining of october...excited!

Welcome to the Chi Walking and Chi Running team. I have just posted week one of my weekly series. These rotate through a complete Chi Running course with one section or Lesson a week, typically posted on Sunday and remaining in place until the following sunday.

I should note that sometimes it is I change the weekly lesson late Saturday or Monday.

haha i know!! this was the first time i've eaten them since i was little, and i forgot how amazing they are!! i always used to eat them with like butter and cinnamon-sugar...i ate it completely naked and it DEFINITELY didn't need any of the extra stuff!

Thanks for the congrats! It is quite a process changing your mind on how you view food and not allowing it to take completely control over your life. I know that getting into recovery was tough and it took constant vigilance everyday. I had to be focused and keep reminding myself that recovery is worth it. I guess now it was time to talk the binge portion of the ed monster.
Congrats on your two years!

Alright Jess, I've just ordered Ankle Bootie UT to try out in prep for skate marathons. I'm no where near your athletic capabilities, but any little gadget helps.

P.S. Thanks, but nothing will help me, performance wise and that wasn't the purpose. I'm just a recreational skater and I got the ankle booties so I'll never forget to double-sock on the marathons. The last one was a disaster because I forgot to do so and got blisters half way through. It was dumb.
