Transformed, one day at a time ;)

7 classes left to finish my BA in Healthcare Administration. Been with Robair for 8 years now, we have an (almost) 2 year old and getting ready to officially get married. I would love to get back to my pre baby weight, ok I can't blame it all on the baby but this "tire" around my waist is depressing! I remember being much happier with myself, so it's time for a life change.

Yes! Go Alissa! You joined the gym and you're going! Wow, Impressive. Keep it up and pretty soon you'll be fitting into those clothes buried in the back of the closet. Good Work. Don't give up. emoticon

I'm so afraid of getting all hyped up and failing (again) with this weight issue. I want to join the gym that's opening right down the street. But my fear is limiting me to thinking that it's just going to be like the other times. I don't want it to be that way. How can I shake this and make this a permanent life change? I'm tired of being fat and stressed out. I know things can be a whole lot better. It use to be when I could do more than climb a set of stairs, such a long time ago. *Sigh*

emoticon Just remeber, Alissa....you're doing this in baby steps not giant leaps. Don't let that doubt dominate your life...you have goals and dreams. I am worth fulfilling these dreams, but it comes with effort and work. Not sitting on your butt. K? Get up and take a walk or garden, pull some weeds...mop the house. Move your B-O-D-Y and yes...join the gym, it has tanning -no judging here- and you like to "treat" yourself after a good sweat. GO FOR IT.
