My Goals:
Improve my BMI. Drop my weight some. Get more toned - and hopefully more energy! :) And maybe improve my cholesterol in the process!

My Program:
The goal: hittin' the gym a couple times a week (cardio and strength stuff), playing on the Wii (for cardio and balance), taking the stairs, walking at lunch when I can...

The reality: walking at lunch. Gym a couple times a month. Hauling stuff to and from sale booths. Walking with the dogs. Gotta shift this to be more like the goal! :)

Ah! Thank you! I believed there were two things to share, and you had them both!

Cookies: Anything by Enjoy Life. I recently found their cookie cookbook so might be investing in that soon to make them myself and share those recipes. I thought the snickerdoodle cookies would have gone well as the cheesecake crust.

For your friend with fibromyalgia, what has been helping me, and a couple others here at SP had heard of it, is D-Ribose. It's a supplement in the muscle strengthening category.

Thank *you* for the motivation to get back over here to SparkPeople! After that evening, I made the personal commitment to do what I can on the 28 day Bootcamp challenge, even with bad breathing habits I get to have at the beginning.

It was so nice to meet you and talk to you. I had thought about not going, since I'd been under the weather. That evening has been the motivation and encourager I needed, all from one mention of SparkPeople!

Thank you for saying hi, but remind me what I'm forgetting. Did I say I would forward some recipes or were we just talking about recipes? Remind me, please!

I like feeling smarter than the macho types, too :)

I haven't been to Planet Fitness! I have a membership at the Alaska Club (who is not nice enough to let me bring friends :/), because it's so close to my house--I figured if I had the ability to walk there, or bus from work, I'd have a lot less chance for excuses.

If you're allowed to take friends, I'd love to go with you! That would be fun!
