Motivated!

While I'm still in the "healthy range" for my weight, I'm on the top end (on the BMI scale) and don't want to go over it. I can do better, so I'm trying to lose 20 pounds and tone up. This will put me back in the weight range where I have more energy, am healthy, and feel confident. To me, a balanced, healthy lifestyle is more important than a number on a scale, so if I reach a weight where I feel I've achieved that, I'm less concerned with dropping the whole 20 pounds.

Update 3/11: So far, I've lost 5 pounds and already my energy levels and self-esteem are increasing as my physical activity does!

Update 7/23: I had some setbacks and wasn't able to exercise as often/as intensely as I was previously, and gained 7 lbs. back. :( Currently I'm working on rehabbing my back while also easing back into cardio and am not as focused on losing weight. It's kind of nice. :)
