Whether you have 200 lbs or 20 lbs to lose, I recommend checking out the Spark Teams - there are so many to choose from, you're sure to find other people 'like you' to interact with. You might also check out Challenge Central for guidance and those are another source for friends and accountability.

Good luck with your journey and I'm pleased to meet you here on SparkPeople!

emoticon There are teams for people who need to lose a 100# or more. Have you thought about having Weight Loss Surgery? I know it has helped a lot of people, but then if you aren't mentally ready to do all you have to do it might not be right for you.
Instead of being angry at yourself for not losing any pounds, why not work on changing what you can do, maybe tracking what you eat. I did the first week and was shocked to see I drank 1500 calories per day in soda, juice and milk. I worked on stopping that first by switching to NuNatural brand Stevia in lemon water or kool-aid. I hate plain water, so I bought Spring Water and made a quart of water with one cup of orange juice which was 100 calories. It helped me to get plenty of fluids.
Try small changes like measuring your food before you eat. When we take a bag of chips to the sofa, we can eat them all mindlessly, so it pays to measure out a portion and write it down.
Sit the timer and exercise for ONE MINUTE. Why? Because starting is the hardest part. Do one minute and then yell AWESOME!!! Do a "Happy Dance". Try it several times a day.
Listen to the lectures on YouTube by Richard Bernstein M.D. who wrote The Diabetes Solution. He talks on Insulin Resistance. He has 18 lectures. He says most obese women have hormone imbalance.
