I live in South central Wisconsin in a small town. I am a police dispatcher for a police department in another small town north of where I live.
I love to read. I have too many favorite authors to mention here. I am eclictic in my reading, enjoying fiction, mysteries and some biographies. Now with the weather getting nicer I love to work in my yard. I have several flowerbeds and because I have a lot of shade in my yard I especially love hostas.
Thank you for leaving a comment on my "eating on vacation" blog. Water is so important. Sometimes icy cold water is the best part of the meal! We keep bottled water in the room, but at room temperature it wasn't as appealing. This may be a case of just doing it because I need to. The mini fridge didn't leave much room for the bottles as well as other food. I am thankful for all the wonderful suggestions my Spark friends made. I never thought about taking the electric skillet with us! There is a tiny Wal-Mart nearby with limited choices. We spent quite a bit of time there until their winter weather starts. Now for the planning!
