I used to be thin (December 2006).

Though my motivation keeps suffering lapses of "Why do I have to work so hard to lose weight when most other moms I know are rails again within the first year after giving birth?" bum-outs, I'm still trying to thin my legs, lose my spare tire, and tone up. I need to get into shape for health and confidence. (My fibromyalgia also hinders me at times, which is depressingly frustrating.)
My goals are to lose at least 20 pounds - to once again be 135 - and to tone up. I'd like to get some energy back, too, and just feel more confident about myself as a whole. As far as my lifestyle, I've set the goal to save a dollar each day (I owe my son over $1,000!).
I'm drinking more water, trying to sleep at least 7 hours per night, walking more often (trying for 8,000 steps per day), eating a yogurt per day (plus more salad), and playing outside with my son for a little while most days.
I'm from E. Concord, VT (way up near Canada and NH), and I moved to CT to be with Joel when I became pregnant with our son, where I have dwelled for the past 2+ years. I am a stay-at-home mom, though I've been through a few P/T jobs. I miss my family very much and wish my little man could spend more time with his cousins and Grampa. Most important to me are my family and friends, learning and growing, saving the environment and the creatures - including human beings - of the world, music, and the written word.
