Hang in there with Insanity, I promise it will get easier. Just go at your own pace. Don't try to kill it everytime, work your way up to top level. You'll get there, I know it! 2400 days ago
Hi Debra, My name is Bart. I just joined SP at the first of the year. So far I have lost 16lbs in 5 weeks. i have yoyoed all my life and i am sure that SP will keep me on track. Looks like you have been up and down the scales too. Of coarse having babies complicates things a bite. i don't have that excuse I have just let myself go at times. At 61 I don't have much time left to get this done so this time I will get there. Like me you have done this before. It good to see some else that seems serious about this. Hope to see post more on the board. Let's Just Do IT or a year from now we will wish we had started today!
I am a social worker by trade/education. I have spent the past 10 years working in an anti-poverty network and have worked my way up. From direct service to low-income families, to a program administrator to a program developer, to a fund developer and I have worked at the state and national level as well. Two years ago, I quit my job and started my own non-profit organization with two other remarkable women. At the same time I went back to school for my master's in Public Administration. I want to one day write policy for state and federal legislation that makes sense to the people it will eventually impact. To help build structures for communities that will embrace all races and all socio-economic classes to have access to basic needs such as housing, employment and education. I know pretty lofty goals.... but working on it and I have the rest of my life to achieve it.
This quarter I am taking strategic planning for public and non-profit organizations. Not really worried about it. I only have electives left for the degree so they are going to be more of a "fun" type of class. Good luck this week.... and fit workouts in where it makes sense. :-) 3298 days ago
