I really want to fit into the clothes that I have bought in the past. So that means that I need to lose about 25 pounds. I also want to look into a mirror without cringing!!
I am tracking my foods every day and trying to stay within the 1200-1500 calorie range. I just can't seem to get any exercise in. I am sure I have time I just don't feel like it. I know that it is essential to do this though.
My name is Kathy and I live in Cold Spring KY. I own a small daycare in Highland Heights. I was married April of 2007 and presently we have no children.
I like to read, take walks (when I have a buddy), hike, sing, surf the web and quiet time.
"One of the most difficult parts of changing how you live and how you eat is believing that change is possible. We all say we believe that, but many of us, deep down in our hearts believe that it's possible for other people, but not for us. That other people can do it, that the glowy warm life we imagine is for other people, not for us. We have an unconscious belief that we can't do it, it's hopeless, and so, on some level, we stop making an effort. We lapse into the way it always was or is. But change really is possible. And it really does take a fierce kind of longing, and a fierce kind of love for yourself. For the life you know is possible. Ask yourself what you love most of all. Do you love your life? And are you willing to take action on your own behalf?" -Geneen Roth

"Whenever you make a mistake or get knocked down by life, don't look back at it too long. Mistakes are life's way of teaching you. Your capacity for occasional blunders is inseparable from your capacity to reach your goals. No one wins them all, and your failures, when they happen, are just part of your growth. Shake off your blunders. How will you know your limits without an occasional failure? Never quit. Your turn will come." -Og Mandino
Just stopping by to wish you a healthy week, Spark friend! If you fall down, get back up and keep pushing forward. I hope you know that you're always worth your best effort...because you really are! Hugs, Pixie
