I work out daily for 2-3 hours at the gym, bring my hula hoop twice a week, play racquetball once a week and try to take a few Zumba classes and sometimes bootcamp and bodypump classes.

My Goals:
When I turned 50 my bodyfat % went up so I am pushing to lose that and some more lbs. I lost 20 since coming back a year ago.

My weight gain is from prednisone for my skin condition.

My Program:
I joined 24 hourfitness in June of 2004, took a 18 month break from summer 2007 to March 2009 and go 5-7 days every week.

I do rowing, machines, weights and read lots of info on topic.

Personal Information:
Originally from NJ - moved to Los Angeles in 1985 at the age of 25, so basically have spent 25 yrs now in LA.

Other Information:
My two teens are on the autism spectrum.

Hello to you,

First, I am so sorry I didn't get your feeds when I was in LA. I actually spent the first part of my trip not far from you... in Downtown Burbank and Pasadena. Then, I headed inland, Corona, to see my mama.

Upon returning, I was extremely busy at work as I am, determined to leave (for France) and return without stress. The past week has been tough, and next week too. But I will not be working until 11PM, like I did this week. NO WAY.

I am so happy to report that the best thing that is happening to me is that I have not overeaten, poorly eaten or any of that stuff. South Beach really got rid of those cravings. In fact, when I smell sugar "stuff"... you know cakes, cookies, et al..., I get nauseated. How wierd is that. It's almost like my body is saying, " THIS IS POISON. DO NOT EAT IT." I love it.

Also, my "Louvre" jeans... fit perfectly, albeit they are too long. The goal is to return from France, buying a smaller size.

I will be working out hard this week, as I am coming into the the stretch. I will walk the hills around my house. I live at the top... great views, but the 2 mile walk down at the beginning means only one thing... 2 miles back... up hill. That's one way to get a tight bootay!!

I will return from France, as a 50-year old woman, at my favorite time of year. I delight in the thought of my friends and family at my round dining table, enjoying laughs, games and love. So much to celebrate; so much to be thankful for.

Thanks for the info. I've been contimplating asking for one for my birthday. Just not sure if I really want to pay for the membership to use it. Figured it might be helpful for awhile, though, and more accurate than my current HRM.
