Hi! Thank you for stopping by my page! My name is Milana, and I'm from a small city in Central NY. I've been married to my wonderful hubby for 31yrs! We have 4 children and 3 GS. Family is very important to me and they come first. I'm an animal lover! 4dogs, 2cats, 3birds! I'm taking charge and stepping out of my comfort zone! This past May I ran my first 5K at age 50! I've been back and forth, up and down, but I haven't quit!! I'm Some of my favorite workouts are the Turbo's Jam , Fire. Extreme as well as P90X workouts-although, I don't like resistance bands so I use my free weights! If you've never done them, be ready to sweat! I also love my Yoga and Pilates! Right now, I'm liking the 10minute Solution series. I never do just 10minutes though! I enjoy Bollywood or Funky music for motivation. I love to dance so that kind of music just makes me want to move! I love to take walks with my dogs. I usually put on my music and just go til they're beat! Right now I'm in the middle of a challenge called BLC24~ I'm on Team Silver Spies~ It's a super group, very supportive and motivational! I've made some new friends and I Love them all! Go SPIES!! After round 23 I was asked to be Co-Cappie! It's a Fun, friendly, and supportive! I fully expect to reach my GW by the end of the this yr. To inspire and motive as well as be inspired and be motivated! I know a lot of people who blog everyday but I don't like to blog, so you probably won't see many of those by me! I do enjoy reading them and getting to know people. I have a 2 vices: 1 Beer, which I miss immensely right now. It's hard to resist but I'm getting better! 2. When the weather is nice, you won't find me on the boards, rather I'll be on the road. I Love taking rides up north on my VStar 1100 motorcycle. My DH bought it for me 5yrs ago. Big mistake-I've been on the back of his back since we were but children (I was 17!) now I have my lisence and go when I want. I still like to hop on the back of his once in a while! Kicking Off 2015 Right with S.M.A.R.T Goals I'm only listing 4 goals because I think that's a good attainable number of goals
1. I will Lose 20lbs and keep it off 2. I will be able to complete a 10K 3. I will continue to limit my fastfood/eating out 4. I will incorporate more vegatarian meals
I've told my family that these are the things I want to accomplish this yr. and asked them to help me by keeping me accountable and not tempting me! Another way I will attain these goals, is by renewing my affair with the gym. I plan to work hard at CAMP WANNABEFIT Challenge www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/groups_i ndividual.asp?gid=63148 as well as BLC26 so that I will have the support from all my teammates from both challenges
Fitness: My workout plan right now is to start slow. I'm not going to burn out because I over worked. Gradually adding more longer cardio session which will include:
1. Starting Mon. Jan 5 Cardio 4x per week 2. ST 2x per week 3. At least 1 session of Yoga or Pilates 4. After 4wks I will assess my progress and if necessary add longer sessions and heavier weights. I like to mix it up but will mostly be using TurboJam, TurboFire, Chalean Extreme, PIYO, P90X but will also use the gym. 4. Track my workouts and food 7x days 5. When the weather is right for running outside I will begin using running as part of my cardio workouts. 6. Track my workouts and food 7x days and do my best to stay in my calorie range. I will not let alcohol get the better of me!
Happily married 4 children- Meema to 3 grandsons. I still live in the same small city were I was born in Central NY.
Some things that I enjoy doing are: Hanging out with my kids and playing my grandsons. Listening to Music especially when it's my children and husband playing! I love to go for walks by myself or with my 4 Jacks. I also LOVE to ride my motorcycle whenever possible! My Mom is the coolest and (hands down) my best friend and I love spending time with her.
