I WILL, I WON'T, I WANT

Arriving at a goal weight, and learning to maintain that healthy weight, takes some effort.

Okay, a lot!

I'm almost there. I'm within 5 pounds of my goal. It has taken me 2 years to lose those 60 pounds. I've learned a thing or two along the way.

I know that in order to maintain that loss, I have to work just as hard as I did to lose it.

I need to know what I WANT. I want health. I want energy. I want to look my best and ...

In order to achieve those things, I WILL continue my exercise, I WILL improve my nutrition, and I WILL stay engaged in the process through my accountability to various challenges and teams. I WILL pick my self up when set-backs happen, and I WILL surround myself with positive and supportive people. I'll make it fun!

I WON'T give up. I WON'T return to old habits. I WON'T decide I don't care anymore.

I WILL, I WON'T, I WANT!!!

It's all within my power.

It's all within my choice.

And I can and will reach and maintain my goal!

My Program:
Cardio - 250-300 minutes per week

Strength Training - 2 times per week

Stay engaged by signing up for Challenges ... and participating fully!

Develop a nutrition plan, and stick to it!

Personal Information:
50+ years old
Happily married to my best friend!
Mom of 4 wonderful adult children!


Other Information:
I work full-time as a Dental Assistant, love to eat fresh produce and fruit from the garden (when the critters don't get to it first!), would like to quilt again someday, and remodel my home. We can always dream, right?

I love sunrise/sunset, so your background picture has the perfect colors! Is that the Grand Canyon?

The strawberries on my page was from a Camp challenge, where we had a scavenger hunt and had to find summer items on a list, take a picture of them and put the pictures in a blog. The picture of the strawberries looked so good, I thought I'd keep it hanging around for awhile!
