Putting one foot in front of the other! Soon you'll see me walkin' out that door and I am not willing too pass back thru! That door of fatigue, pain, breathlessness and abandon is being closed! The Fat Girl is leaving my life and the proud Done Girl has moved in! Years of not fitting and "almost" and "maybe another cut" are being left behind! My Goals:
After giving my child for adoption 19yrs ago I want to be healthy and fit the day I get to meet him. This may never actually happen, but Ben, I'm trying....He lost 40lbs to qualify for and be sworn into the U.S Marine Corps-if he can do it: you'd bet I can!!

My Program:
Started eating gluten free foods about a month ago and love how I'm feeling after being introduced to them. First weigh in after I began eating this way showed a 5.8lb loss! I am building my exercise daily and WILL get to my goal of losing 50lbs by my b-day on 5/29/2015!! When I see my Dr. on Weds the 24th of Sept I will ask for a blood test to make it official!

Personal Information:
Living in N.Adams ,Ma. and loving it! Have been here for 4 yrs after growing up in Wilmington, Ma where I lived for 30+ yrs. Have lived in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey- England, and Atlanta, Ga. U.S.A as well!

Other Information:
I am a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) survivor and have just celebrated 21yrs of still being alive. I learned to walk, talk, eat and be potty trained again at age 19....not easy, but I did them all! Time to learn how to eat again...the best way for my body!

Thank you for asking about my walking goal. I had open-heart surgery in Oct. 2012 and didn't bounce back like I should have. I had just gotten back on track in January of this year when I had an auto accident and broke my ankle. My long term goal after bone grafting and repair was to be able to consistently walk 8000 steps per day before the end of the year. I have steadily raised my tracker goal every month and raised it to 8000 on Nov. 30. I appreciate all encouragement and prayers since that's what's gotten me this far! Hugs and prayers to you and yours for a wonderful holiday!
