I am 57, and cannot walk alone, after three massive strokes, I am wheelchair bound, I have, however recently lost 87 pounds with a different program, I have 43 to go. Well, I have to report this to as many people as I can, I just learned that I dropped 3 more.
Enter a summary of your goals, or just a few you would like to share.I will ride my stationary bike 1 hour three or more days a week, hopefully 5. I will go from size 18 jeans to size 14, I will lose another 15 pounds, from 180 to 165. 9/1/08
Give an overview of what you are doing to meet your goals. I'm doing 60 minutes of stationary bike riding 5 days a week, lifting light weights sporadically, doing crunches incessantly, eating healthy, low fat, no suger, lots of water. walking some distance at least once a week
Anything else you would like to tell people. Could include things like your favorite books or movies, a quote, I was an English teacher-high school- for 17 years. Then I was a lawyer for 5 years, now I'm retired. Having had 3 strokes on August 20, 2000, I gained 100 pounds in short order, now I've dropped 85.5

I guess I put deadlines on my goals so that I don't let myself get lazy. I didn't have specific goals before and I was just kinda coasting along. I like knowing that there is a "finish line" persay. Thanks for stopping by my page! have a great Sunday! Trisha

Hey there!! No problemo!! I totally understood what you were saying... I don't think we can ever be DONE with taking care of ourselves!! EVER!! lol
LIke I tell everyone.,..... if I can do it.. anyone can do it!! I still have a ways to go.. but, I am not quitting or giving up even when the scale doesn't want to budge!! I am going to be persistant and finish this whole weightloss thing one day!!

Thanks for the comment!! What I am most DONE with is being the person that I was when I started this journey. I am done with feeling like I am helpless to lose weight or feeling that food controls my life. I am done with the fat mentality, that I am OK being fat. I am done not loving me!! Most of all I am DONE worrying about what others think of me or the way I look.
Done to me is not a matter of weight loss... it is a matter of how I think about things.
