Thanks so much for the goodie! One of my favorite authors was Tony Hillerman and I was so sad when he passed away. His daughter has taken up the tradition and written one book so far, building on his characters. I like it a lot actually. Because I lived for years and years in New Mexico, I knew so well the Indian reservation he had for a setting and he also mentioned places sometimes like Gallup, Shiprock, Albuquerque, Santa Fe, etc. From what I read he stuck very close to the Navajo customs, even though the characters were fictional. And his books followed a theme and built on those same characters as the main ones. I also like both Jonathon and Faye Kellerman, and a whole host of others. When I was in the 8th grade Perry Mason books was one of my favorites but I've kind of gotten past those now LOL. I read almost all of them. What are some of your favorite authors. There are a lot of others I just can't think of at the moment
Thanks for the comment on my friend feed about weight loss. I think it was the hiking but also now that I've been in my own apartment for 2 weeks I'm eating much better than at my son's house or in the hospital or back home in New Mexico with my daughters and grandkids living with me LOL! I'll take it no matter what! Hope you have a great day!
Wow - beautiful dog! And thank you so much for the bloglove on my Itty Bitty Steps post. I'm flattered that this touched you. I've had 3 days of eating with tiny bites and so far it's been pretty easy - but then - I have all these people cheering me on. I really feel their support. And now, when it could be getting hard to stay enthusiastic, I can remember you and buoy up my efforts. so - too!
