Hi There! My life has been a constant struggle with the scale...I guess we have all been there. :o) Back in 1993 I lost a lot of weight (50 lbs) with a Church group known as the Circle of Discipline (COD). I enjoyed this group and its fellowship. Like everything in life, there are always changes, people move and groups cease. Even though I know what to do for myself as far as eating and exercising, I just couldn't seem to get started on changing my ways. One day my sister clued me in to Spark People (SP)and when I finally checked it out, I was totally hooked. It was just the 'Spark ' that I needed to get motivated in changing my ways and I found it with SP. YAHOO! In my signature box, I've included a quote from HEBREWS 12:11, it was one of the verses that we were required to memorize for COD ~ haven't forgotten it either :o) I hope that it helps anyone that may be struggling in the beginning. Its all about discipline and being patient. So hang in there and be strong. So far just working out on my Gazelle, but I hope to add a stationary bike as well. On warmer days I want to resume walking outside.
Other Information:
When I'm not exercising I like to read....Romances, Suspenses and Mysteries. I enjoy movies too! I like working in my yard, there is always something to do that can keep me busy there. :o)
