I have two grown children – A son who is single who lives by himself and a married daughter, no grandchildren -yet.
I have a female cat – Roezie. She is just one of the many pets living here. I live with a friend and her family and they have a menagerie! Roezie adopted me as her “human” ;)
I am hoping to lose weight by walking as much as I am able and hopefully watching what I eat. Walking is easy but for me, watching what I eat, not so much (unless you are talking about watching it go from the plate into my mouth!!)
Some of my hobbies & interests are:
Reading, watching TV, Internet, photography, volunteering, Sacred Harp/Shape-Note singing
I'm a breast cancer survivor. Was diagnosed in 1995. Chemo and the following year I had a stem cell transplant using my own stem cells. This was done more as a preventative measure to assure the cancer would not return.
I am a Christian (United Methodist)
I am a registered Republican who really feels more like a Libertarian with strong conservative leanings. I like to consider myself as a “Bleeding Heart Conservative”. ;)
