I have been struggling with my weight my whole adult life. I start something, do good for a week or two, and then fall off the wagon. Its a vicious cycle that ends now.

My Goals:
I am working my way to lose 70 lbs. I am tired of looking and feeling the way I do. I want to be able to have more energy, keep up with my kids, and not feel so tired and groggy all the time. I want to lose weight and have energy so that when I come home from work I am not exhausted and can do more than sit in front of the TV.

My Program:
I have tried many programs and have quit 2 weeks in. I have so many different work out videos (Jillian MIchaels Body Revolution, The Firm Express, Zumba,EA Active, Turbo Jam, 10 MInute Trainer, Slim in 6, ect). You would think with all those I would be fit...HaHa... I just cant stick with it. Right now I am working with a personal trainer/friend. She has created me an online program to follow and I absolutely love it!

Personal Information:
I am from Prescott, WI. I graduated from her and now live here with my husband and 2 boys and our dog. My oldest is 10 years old and my youngest is 2. I am into card making and photo's. I love hanging out with friends and family. I enjoy walking with my family, shopping, baking, and taking time to myself when I can get it. I am trying to get it through my head that losing weight is not going to be a diet but a lifestyle. I will get this down at some point in the future...the near future hopefully.

Other Information:
I like to read but only if its on my iPad. I love reading about modern romance and weight loss books. My favorite type of movie is comedy. I love to laugh and have a good time.

Hey there! I saw you are going to start Body Revolution. When is your plan to start? You are ambitious to get up at 4am! Wow, that is some dedication. I just started week 11 of Body Revolution. I haven't lost a ton of weight with it, but boy do I have muscles where I didn't have before. I flexed my arm for my daughter and she said where did that come from? I think had I been eating better while doing it I would have lost a little more weight. I also didn't like her cardio so I either walked or biked instead of the cardio part. Again, not sure if it would make a difference or not. I really like her program and feel I am in much better shape because of it. Keep me posted on what you think.

This will no doubt be an emotional week for you. Before putting anything in your mouth ask yourself if you're hungry. Try chewing gum. When you feel hunger pangs wait 20 min and see if they go away.

Hi fellow "shy" person! I am really interested in this emotional eating class you are taking. Will you keep me updated on what you think about it? I think that I am an emtional eater as well and I'm trying to deal with it on my own but so far haven't figured it out yet! (Obviously!) Good luck and enjoy your busy day.

LOL! I do know some peeps in MN but I generally talk about my friend in MI.
Has your MIL been told a location of the cancer cells yet? I've been scared to death ever since Connie was diagnosed. So far things are going well but I hate how long things have taken. She was diagnosed in Oct, surgery in Nov, after it got postponed. Another mammogram end of Dec. They were supp to begin radiation Jan but then they decided to do chemo but her labs indicated a 22% chance of returning. They began chemo last Mon. I am still scared but she seems to be taking things in stride. We are the same age and no one in her family has cancer. I will definitely be praying for your MIL.

I know people mean well sharing their stories but I think in a situation like this, it's their battle. It's nice to support and all and give hope but we need to listen whenever they need to share. I'm here for you if you need anything!
