I am a widowed mother of a beautiful 15 1/2 year old daughter. My husband passed away 3 years ago. My reason for joining SparkPeople was to set an example for my daughter on how to be healty, eat healthier, exercise more, and to increase my activity level. My daughter swims year round and has practice Monday - Friday for two and half hours a day and three hours on Saturday. She will also begin her first part-time job this summer. I am trying to figure out how to balance everything, plus fitting in time for SparkPeople. So far the Spark has been very motivational and inspiring; however, I am feeling very overwhelmed. But, I do have faith that God will see me through my struggles and help me in my journey. I would love to hear from other people on the Spark on how you handle these struggles.
